Moody Weather

Coat: H&M - Sale $40
Blouse: H&M - $15
Pants: Marshalls - $15

It's almost December and while the weather has dropped to 50 degrees here, the 80% humidity still makes it hard to walk around campus in a sweater without it doubling as a human oven. Alas, I still have to wait for sweater weather.
In honor of the contest winner Sierra, I've created an outfit inspired by her winning look! Sierra chose to rock a pale pink blouse that's perfect for fall/winter.

I chose to colorblock my pale pink blouse with darker colors for winter. Navy and deep rust bring more interest to the pink. The thin shirt and coat make the perfect combination for the chilly weather outside and the over-heated classroom temperatures inside. (Can we talk about how annoying it is to peel the 7 layers you just put on off so you don't bake in 85 degree classrooms?) I'm dying over how chic this coat is. The longer length is super trendy and the clean cut is sophisticated. It makes me feel like I'm not a starving, poor college kid.

LET'S HAVE A MOMENT OF SILENCE FOR THIS PHOTO QUALITY. It was done by my friend Anne Yu, a fabulous photographer. Check out her work!

GUYS. DID YOU NOTICE BARELY ADULT'S NEW LOOK? I feel like my blog has just gone through puberty, and I'm a proud mom. Thanks for growing with this blog guys, it's been almost a year already! While I should post alot more than once a month, I don't want to sacrifice quality over quantity. And school is getting more and more hectic, but thanks for witnessing this blog growing up. *Modestly cries* YA'LL ARE THE BEST

Also, I stopped using watermarks. I'm no longer afraid you'll steal my pics, claim them as your own and catfish people with them (seriously though, catfishing is so wrong).
