Back to School Lookbook + CONTEST

Back to School is a crucial fashion season. Instead of going all out dressing up on the first day of school, and then slowing declining into sweatpants and flip flops, I like to set the tone for the new school year. I'm so excited for new friends, new experiences, and new opportunities! (And new clothes.) I've collaborated with Sarah from Sarah Styled for this Back to School Fashion post featuring some trends I'm including in my school wardrobe.

Mixing Prints

I love mixing prints as you could probably tell. Prints add interest and quirk to any ensemble. Try rocking mixed prints if you're feeling particularly bold this school year.

Grayscale

The black and white trend is timeless and always ultra chic. It's been my go-to look for awhile now. I like to wear all white and put a pop of gray into my outfit for that artsy chic look.

Classic Denim

For those people who value sleep over getting ready for school, I feel you. Sometimes a dress is the best option for minimal fuss and ostensible effort. Denim is a classic Back to School essential and this dress is easy and girly.

Bohemian Vibes

Top: H&M - $12
Shorts: Forever 21 - $25
Flats: Ross - $10

This tribal inspired shirt paired with simple white shorts makes me feel like I've just stepped out the plane from a posh foreign country. Bohemian details make you seem like you didn't just spend your summer on the couch with Netflix; it gives off a world traveler vibe.

Handbag: Aldo - $25

Make it your business to add business casual items in your wardrobe. Not only is it versatile in a professional and street setting, but it elevates your look. I feel like an off-duty model with this striped button up thrown on with some denim shorts.
